If you never design applications that use Hijri dates, this is a safe module to skip downloading. If you do create such applications, however, the module basHijri contains helper functions that determine if the machine is set to use the Hijri calendar, as well as two functions that will convert back and forth between the text representation of Hijri and Gregorian dates. It can come in very handy when you need to add Hijri date support to an application. The code will work on all languages and platforms, as there is Hijri calendar support built into the core VBA language!
